Education Qualification:
Medical Officer/Research Officer (Homoeopathy):
(i) A Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognised University/ Statutory State Board/ Council or equivalent recognised under the Homoeopathic Central Council ACT, 1973 (59 of 1973).
(ii) Enrolment on the Central Register of Homoeopathy or State Register of Homoeopathy.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Metallurgy):
Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic) from a recognized University OR Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
EXPERIENCE: Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the fields of Metallurgy from recognized organization or undertaking.
Pay Scale: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 30 years.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (General Medicine):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (General Medicine); or Diplomate National Board (Medicine/ General Medicine).
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.
Age: 40 years.
Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neuro Surgery):
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act,
1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Neuro Surgery); or Diplomate National Board (Neuro Surgery).
EXPERIENCE: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist
Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.
Age: 40 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics):
Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent*.
Note: M.Sc. (Applied Physics) may be taken as equivalent*.
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the **relevant field.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Biology):
Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry):
Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.
EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in the field of Chemistry or Toxicology. NOTE-: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

Age: 35 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Documents):
Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or
Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent* OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent**. Note (i): * Equivalent qualification may be treated as NIL.
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Photo):
Graduate degree preferably in science with diploma in photography from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent*. Note: *Equivalent means Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art (Photography) from a recognized university/Bachelor’s degree in crime scene photography/ Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Photography.
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience in various branches of photography including experience of Scientific photography with theoretical and practical knowledge of its techniques.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Senior Scientific Officer (Physics):
Master degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent*. Note: * M.Sc (Applied Physics) may taken
as equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age: 35 years.
Architect (Group-A):
(i) Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Should be registered as Architect with Council of Architecture, India.
EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in the Profession.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600. (Pre revised). General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non- Ministerial.
Age: 40 years.
The age limit shown against all items is the normal age limit and the age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. SC/ST/OBC candidates have to produce a caste certificate in prescribed proforma. APPLICATION FEE:
(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
(b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
(d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
Selection Process:
The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at Interview stage.
Candidates shortlisted for interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications submitted by them will be required to send self attested copies of documents/relevant certificates in support of the claims made in the application as and when demanded by the Commission.
