Gujarat Krushi Rahat Package: GUJ KRISHI RAHAT PACKAGE 2020 : The Krishi Sahay package for farmers was announced by the Gujarat government with the last date of registration being 31-10-2020. Currently the amount of assistance is being credited to the beneficiary’s account.
The Gujarat government had given one month for this scheme. This date was from 1-10-2020 to 31-10-2020. The people who filled the form have started depositing money in their accounts
The state government has repeatedly announced that the state government was considering providing assistance to farmers in the state in case of crop loss of 33 per cent and above. Out of the estimated 51 lakh hectares of planted area in 123 talukas of 20 districts of the state, an estimated 37 lakh hectares will be eligible for assistance as per the aid norms after considering the assessment of the survey conducted by the Agriculture Department on September 19 damage in some talukas in kharif season this year.
The state government was considering providing assistance to farmers in the state in case of crop loss of 33 per cent and above, which would cover an estimated 37 lakh hectares in 123 talukas of 20 districts. Assistance of Rs.10,000 per hectare will be paid for a maximum of 2 hectares with a loss of 33% or more It has also decided to provide a minimum of Rs 5,000 per account to farmers. The relief package will benefit more than 27 lakh farmers in the state.
