CBSE 10th / 12th Board Exam 2020
CBSE 10th, 12th exam 2020 to be held from 1st to 15th July canceled, The board was informed of the decision during a hearing in the Supreme Court today.
The Supreme Court has heard the CBSE Board’s application for holding the 10th and 12th pending examinations. Maharashtra, Delhi and Odisha have filed affidavits stating that they are unable to conduct the examination. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the 10th and 12th examinations scheduled for July 1 to 15 have been canceled.
The board was informed of the decision during a hearing in the Supreme Court today. He also said on what basis the students will be given marks and will prepare the result. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta from CBSE and Union Ministry of Human Resource Development spoke on behalf of the party. Advocate Rishi Malhotra defended the petition from the Delhi, Odisha and Maharashtra governments not to hold the examination.
The board told the apex court that 12th graders would be given a choice. They will be awarded marks based on their performance in the last three examinations held at the school. They will also be given the option to appear for the Improvement Examination to be held in a few months. If the student wants, he can improve his score by giving Improvement Exam.
